Environments and Habit Changing
This week during my Advanced Behavior Change class I did an assignment about environmental factors that can impact how we act. The entire assignment is linked below, but I also wanted to share the slide about practical applications as this week’s newsletter. [see below]

Key takeaways:
Perform an audit of your habits and environment over a week. Map out when/where you are failing at your goal behaviors and when/where you are succeeding. As an example “if I wait until after dinner to do my workout, it doesn’t get done” or “I can’t put my phone down before bed if it’s in the same room as me”. This analysis will help you build an environment that is conducive to your goals! It’s always easiest to resist the temptation of eating a cookie if there are no cookies nearby. That is the crux of what is being illustrated.
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
Galatians 5:16
